The complete modernization of the Marion Dufresne ship also requires the recasting of the vessel part (motorization, hull, living area) for a cost of 10 M€ managed by the Terres Australes et Antarctiques Françaises (TAAF).
The work is done during the year 2015 and the subvention must be invoiced at the latest by the end of 2015.
Concerning personnel, the INSU Technical Division staff contributes on the recasting of the Marion Dufresne ship for the GT2 working group (deck machinery) with 11 men.month.
