Allocation:

1. Design of an Antarctic plateau hot water drilling system:
   • first French equipment to access the basal conditions of ice stream glaciers (link with CLIMCOR CONTINENT)
   • drill winch, Drill 4000m long hose pipe, cable, drill development
2. Design of a new type of logger:
   • provide geophysical measurements (temperature, pressure, hole diameter, tilt)
   • provide stratigraphic and rheological information (dust)
   • dedicated 4000 meters armoured cable, probe
3. Purchase of equipment for the improvement of the existing methods:
   • ice core field analysis equipment
4. New laser instruments for Subglacior probe:
   • new optical spectrometer, integration tools
   • for in-situ analysis (CH4, H2O isotopes)
